Exchange 2013 Queue Viewer

In this post, I'll demonstrate a non-PowerShell based method to view the queues in Exchange 2013.

Perhaps a lot of Exchange administrators miss the old GUI of Exchange 2003 - 2010. Exchange 2013 and 2016 are mostly configured using PowerShell or using the Exchange Admin Center which is web based however the Queue Viewer still remains installed as a GUI.

To open the Queue Viewer, open the Exchange Toolbox in your start menu:

Then click on Queue Viewer:

Here you can double click on a queue to see the queued messages and delete them with or without an NDR.

  1. Is there a way to programmatically read Exchange Queue from C#?
